Obituary of Mildred Alice Blackwell

Mildred A. Blackwell, 90, of the Landing section of Roxbury Township passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Mt. Arlington Senior Living.

Born on June 15, 1933 in Paterson, NJ to the late John and Helen (Grimes) Cox, Mildred resided in Montville prior to moving to Landing. Mildred retired in 1999 from Wells Fargo Security in Parsippany NJ.

Mildred loved the outdoors, gardening, playing cards with friends and vacationing with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her husband; Eugene "Richard" Blackwell, her brother; John Cox and son-in-law; Edward Osman.

Survivors include her children Stephen Blackwell and wife; Donna (Brown), Douglas Blackwell and wife; Kathryn (Strowbridge) and Robin Osman, grandchildren; Richard, Jason (Jay), Andrew (Drew), Amanda and Adam and great grandchildren; Shylow, Dante, Serenity, Cash, Jagger, and Brayden.

Mildred's Life Celebration services were held privately and at the convenience of the family.
