Obituary of Samuel P LoBue

Samuel P. LoBue, 79, of Hopatcong, NJ passed away on Thursday, June 4th, 2015 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 22, 1935 in New York, NY to the late Justus LoBue and the late Frances (Manieri) LoBue. Samuel was raised in Paterson, NJ and has lived in Hopatcong for 43 years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean War. He was a National Sales Manager for North Rock Industries in Long Island for 25 years before retiring in March of 2015. Samuel was an avid stamp collector and loved to fish and play golf. Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Beatrice (Cummins) LoBue; his children, Karen, Ralph and his wife Patricia, Frances, Catherine, and Susan Greer and her husband Michael; his sister Carmella Schreck; 7 grandchildren, Joseph, Daniel, Taylor, Gabriella, Alyx, Marlee, and Nicholas. Samuel's Life Celebration will include visitation on Monday, June 8th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. There will be a funeral mass on Tuesday, June 9th at 11:00AM at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive, Hopatcong, NJ. Interment will be held privately by the family.
